It could either make your day, or it could make your day the most horrible thing ever. Especially if your team loses. I have been a sports fan for many years. I have been a baseball fan since I was born, and I have been an american football fan since the first week of February in 2016. I always love listening and watching Dodger games anytime, anywhere. I love the Dodgers; because my grandfather loved them, and It was one of the things we bonded over. It’s always fun seeing the Dodgers win, especially seeing there many home runs. Losing though is apart of the game. It’s always disappointing seeing them lose, but sometimes you can’t be mad or disappointed, since the other team played so well. It was especially heartbreaking seeing them lose the World Series two years in a row(hopefully 2019 is the year they win it all!). Watching a baseball game is always fun. You got the crowd (hopefully) rooting for the home team, people screaming, having fun in general. A piece of advice, don’t say or do anything controversial, unless you want to get in a fight. But, because of sports, your able to literally go to anyone with a sports hat, jersey, shirt, etc and talk about sports, and more than likely, they will respond back with passion about the sport.
Enough about the Dodgers and Baseball. Now it is time for Football! Football is an interesting sport to say at least. Defiantly one of the more dangerous sports, but it they always have some of the best crowds. One of the best football chants is the Tomahawk chop(It is used in other sports). The Tomahawk chop is a simple chant, by having people just move make a chop motion; while, having people say “woooooooho” and repeat. Enough about that, now It’s time to talk about a great team on the rise, and that is the Rams(my favorite team, its biased). The games are always fun to watch, so much offense and good defense. The team went to the Super Bowl and lost….. L.A teams that are good recently can’t win it all. There still more energy at football games than baseball games, due to the fact that there aren’t as many football games than baseball games. One thing for sure, there are more passionate football fans than baseball fans(from my experiences). It’s probably due to the more intense vibe football has, since its a game built off of big plays. While baseball is more relaxing for most of the time. Baseball takes a long time, and there a (mostly) few huge plays in the game. Back to football, football has more energy to the game, and more energy in general than baseball. I’m not saying football is better than baseball(It can be), but fans at football stadiums are louder and more exciting; while, baseball has more relaxed fans, but baseball fans still have those die hard fans, and it is a game of patience for fans(it is a game of numbers, there a stat for everything In baseball).
Overall, baseball and football are great games to watch, but there both different from each other. Baseball is more of a waiting game, but it is still exciting, especially when its 8th or 9th inning bases are full, 3-2 pitch count, 2 outs, and either the player hits the ball and the crowd cheers with all its passion, or its a strikeout and the crowd gets a huge relief or be in huge disappointment. While in Football, there is typically a constant excitement in the crowd, especially after a huge play. People in both sports are typically passionate for their teams, and are willing to talk about the sport. No matter what, true sports fan will always be proud of their team, will always support their team, and will always stick through their team in the tough, mediocure, and great times.
