Mentors are carefully matched with ML participants ages 15-24 based on the needs, interests, and strengths of both mentors and mentees. Mentors can work remotely and/or in person to support the specific goals of their mentee and serve as collaborators and co-learners in their journey. Please read through all of the requirements before applying:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Cleared criminal background check
• Proof of vaccination against COVID-19
• Valid driver’s license or ability to come to the program site
• Commitment of at least 12 months to Million Little’s Mentorship Program
• Weekly engagement with your Mentee either in person or virtually
• Participation in scheduled check-ins with Million Little’s Program Manager
• Adherence to all Million Little policies and procedures
• Completion of 2-hour training before meeting Mentee
• Participation in at least one yearly training offered by Million Little
• Logging of all Mentor/Mentee communication
• Completion of approved Child Abuse/Neglect Training*

*Only required upon matching with a Mentee under the age of 18
