Dese’rae L. Stage is a photographer and writer who created the Live Through This project after surviving a suicide attempt. She uses her artwork to share the stories of others around the globe who have attempted suicide and lived, so others can find strength in their resilience. Additionally the project aims  to reduce prejudice and discrimination against attempt survivors; to provide comfort to those experiencing suicidality by letting them know that they’re not alone and tomorrow is possible; to give insight to those who have trouble understanding suicidality, and catharsis to those who have lost a loved one [...]”
