MEND is a community center in Pacoima which offers many services to low-income individuals. It is the only free clinic in the North SFV area and provides women’s health care, diabetes management, eye exams, and much more. The health professionals are volunteers offering a pro bono service to those who cannot afford health insurance. The center also provides dental care including fillings, extractions, implants, surgery, and crowns. Patients must reside within either San Fernando, Pacoima, Arleta, Lake View Terrace, Mission Hills, North Hills, or Sylmar. Patients must also meet income guidelines and not have health insurance.
