The LA public transportation system offers reduced fares through the “Low Income Fare is Easy” program. Those meeting the income eligibility requirements are entitled to discounts of up to $24 off on monthly passes. Currently these discounts come in the form of paper coupons, but starting in July the discounts will be applied directly to your TAP card.
